Sustainable Agriculture: GRM promotes sustainable agriculture practices, supporting rural farmers to adopt environmentally friendly methods and improve their yields. Practicing of Permaculture and Regenerative Agriculture is our wisest pursuit, because in the end, it contributes most to our real wealth, good morals and happiness.

Insecurity, COVID-19 aftershock, rising food prices, climate change, and limited resources are some of the factors pushing thousands of households under the poverty line in my community. The ongoing drought in the sub-regions of Uganda has affected my community. High food prices have left many families unable to afford nutritious foods – forcing them to find other ways to cope.  Some families have been forced to consume their seed stocks, leaving nothing for the planting season while others have had to borrow money or reduce expenditure on necessities such as education and health.

It is estimated that over 70% of Uganda’s population depends on agriculture. And 80% being smallholder farmers. According to the National Planning Authority, smallholder farmers are the poorest.

Our Objectives

  • To empower smallholder farmers through modern agricultural practices.
  • To inspire youths to join agriculture.
  • To increase on the nutrition of people.
  • To produce quality, and healthy crops
